DALLAS TEXAS COIN DEALER ESTATE SALE MASSIVE COLLECTION
Additional Information
  • DALLAS TEXAS COIN DEALER ESTATE SALE MASSIVE COLLECTION

VERY NICE COLLECTION OF 22 SLABBED PROOF, GEM BU & ANCIENT COINS.

HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS COIN COLLECTION- - - -

    • This auction starts off with a very special coin...  a GEORGE WASHINGTON Golden Dollar from the Presidential Dollar Series.   This is obviously the first coin in that series, Washington being the first President.
    • The next coin is a dazzling Proof Susan B. Anthony Dollar.  This coin was designed to honor this pioneer in women's rights.  You will receive 1 coin dated 1979-1981 or 1999. Very nice coin.
    • Here we have a Kennedy Half Dollar dated 2005-S San Francisco GEM BRILLIANT PROOF.   Exactly the same condition as the coin above.  A matched set for a perfect collection of Kennedy's:
    • This next item in this large group is a 1979-P or 1979-D  GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED Susan B. Anthony Dollar coin.  This coin is from the Philadelphia Mint, and it is the first year of issue for the Susan B. Anthony dollars.
    • The next coin in this group is a 1980  GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED Susan B. Anthony dollar.     This coin is the Mint State example, and in top conditions they are worth a lot more than the proof, as the mint coins were just dumped into bags and shipped all over the country.  Not many of them survived in top condition.  A true find!!  You receive P mint, a D mint or an S mint Uncirculated example.
    • Here is a very nice 2005-S Deep Cameo Proof Ocean View Nickel... from the Westward Journey set....
    • Next is a 1976-P or 1976-D  GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED Fully Struck Kennedy Half Dollar.... the dealer really specialized in unheard of quality coins...   You will receive one of either the 76-P or the 76-D coins.
    • Here we have a nice commemorative coin from the U.S. BICENTENNIAL celebration in 1976.   It is the PROOF half dollar.  They were only put into proof sets.  This one obviously was pulled out of a set because of its extraordinary condition.  It is graded GEM BRILLIANT PROOF.  The frostiness of the designs (devices) is very nice.
    • Here we have a very nice quarter in this group..... you will receive any GEM BRILLIANT PROOF Washington Quarter. You will receive a Proof Quarter dated between 1970 - Date.
    • The next coin is a 1976 SILVER DOLLAR from the Bicentennial.  It was a one year issue design.  The date is a dual date... 1776-1976.  There is no silver content in the coin, it is the copper-nickel-clad issue:    It is a very nice piece to have:
    • In 2005, THE U.S. Mint made for the first time in over 67 years a BUFFALO NICKEL.  It was last made in 1938... but they came out with one in the year 2005.  It has quickly become a highly prized and sought-after collector's piece... here is one in perfect condition  GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED.
    • Now for something EVEN MORE spectacular...!!!  Here is something really old.... and could easily fit into any museum display....  a  Roman bronze coin from the period of 250-350 AD.   The detail in this coin is very strong... it is from the CONSTANTINE THE GREAT period of ancient Rome.  Truly a historic piece and well over 1,700 years old!!
    • Here is a great coin from the Buffalo nickel series from 1913 to 1938.  The front of the coin shows an American Indian, while the back of the coin shows the buffalo standing.  A classic American design....and a great coin to add to this large collection
    • During the year 1943 there were heavy shortages of all kinds of consumer and manufacturing goods in the United States.  The country was at war with Germany and Japan!!   All of the copper was being used for making armaments like bombs and bullets.  So the United States mint had to start using steel in the production of pennies.  Hence we have here one of the historic coins ....... a 1943 steel cent.    It is a really nice looking piece...
    • Here is a set of two coins.... the last year of one design and the first year of another design....   The 1958 wheat cent, and the 1959 Lincoln Memorial Reverse cent....both coins are very popular as the last year and first year of issue for the penny:
    • A very nice GOLDEN DOLLAR dated 2000-P from the Philadelphia mint,  or 2000-D  from the Denver Mint.  Not many coins will grade a full GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED, and this is very rare because of the high condition....   All the detail is there and it is bright and shiny new!!
    • Next is an Ancient Temple Coin from Nagpur c. 340 - 350 AD.  This coin depicts a horse on the obverse of the coin.  This coin is 1600 years old.  Scarce and very hard to find.
    • Here is a great coin.... one of the  Quarters from the Statehood Series.  The mint started this program in 1999 and minted 5 states every year till 2008.
    • Here is a very cool coin..... an early nickel... from the v-nickel series started in 1883 and ending in 1913.  A really old looking design.....
    • The last two coins come as a set...... both are early Lincoln pennies... one dated in the TEENS, and the other dated in the TWENTIES....

VERY NICE COLLECTION OF 22 SLABBED PROOF, GEM BU & ANCIENT COINS.

BDP: Buy Direct Price from Inventory when quantities of more than one of an item are available. Click on the BDP link (the red strike-through price) to purchase a duplicate item to the one being auctioned for the Buy Direct price.

If no additional unit is available, then the Buy Direct link will return a message stating there is none available at this time.

Because many items will be bought and sold during the course of an auction, the quantity of items available via the Buy Direct link is constantly changing, so check back often if you wish to use this feature.

For security purposes, and due to the high value nature of the items, each item won by Auction, Buy Direct or Submit Offers must ship separately, so please factor this into your bidding and buying strategies.
