Once you and your friend get to the auction, read all of the rules and payment terms that are posted. Some auctions require anyone participating in bidding to register and place a deposit before entering the yard. Check these terms in advance of attending the auction. You can do this by calling the phone number listed in each government auction listing. Many of these auctions require cash, so it’s wise to know this and prepare for it before attending the auction.
