It seems like we have seen a lot of phony advertising recently that displays a $100 price tag above a brand new SUV. Needless to say, it’s not a realistic expectation to think you are going to take home a $30,000 vehicle for $100. The only way that could happen is if the vehicle is so wrecked that not even the salvage is worth more than that.
The Federal auctions, including the Treasury auctions, do list luxury vehicles on a regular basis. You can even find Mercedes, BMWs, Ferarris, Lamborghinis, and other exotic cars. You don’t typically find these high-end vehicles at municipal police auctions. Use the phone number posted in each listing to call ahead to find out what the range of vehicles will be in the auction.
